John LeGear is a multimedia producer, film enthusiast, and history presenter based in the Chicagoland area. Through his company, Timothy Communications Inc. (TimComm.com), he creates and hosts heavily produced "docu-musicals" that blend American history, film history, and classic cinema music.

LeGear’s shows are distinct for their "percussive" film-editing style, a fast-paced mixing technique designed to hold the audience's attention with rapid cuts, transitions, and surprise comedic or dramatic twists.
